PANDEMIC

What is it?

We should all know by now that a pandemic disease covers an especially wide geographic area – in this case the whole world. Some of you may have heard enough about man’s view of the pandemic in which we are now facing. Most, if not all, of this teaching is going to give you God’s point of view regarding this pandemic, its source, and the reason it came upon us. For many of you, this teaching is going to set you free in many ways because you are going to get the truth about what this disease is and where it’s coming from – – and why it has surfaced here on the earth at this present time. For those who do you that do not understand or read the Bible on a daily basis, you may have a difficult time believing what you are about to read. I have given my life to share with you the rightly divided Word of God. You can choose to believe what I write or you can reject it. This is a serious subject so I am going to say to you that if you want to go to hell, that’s your prerogative. That’s for the critics. Now as a major introduction to this teaching, I am going to go over a verse with you that speaks loud and clear and is very simple. Why many people do not understand it, I do not know.

But first I would like to go over a Scripture that clearly defines the Word of God and the great and mighty power that the Word of God exemplifies. This verse just came to mind to help set the stage for this teaching also. I do not remember going over this verse with you many times in the past. I will give you the King James Version first and then I will give you a literal translation according to usage.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4: 12 KJV

For the word of God is living and energetic and is above and sharper than any twoedged sword. It is the point of division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a critic or a judge which cuts out the old man thoughts and ideas of the heart. -- Hebrews 4: 12 -- Literal translation according to usage

It is a medical fact that the exact point where the bones meet the marrow cannot be cleanly separated one from another. God is presenting to you a figure of speech as to what He can do as compared to man. One of the most educational parts of the verse is where the word ‘discerner’ is used. This is referring to how the Word of God in the renewed mind of a believer, can and does cut out and remove from a dedicated believer the old man thoughts. I have seen this happen in my life countless times. Now I want to get to a verse which is related distinctly to this teaching. If you believe the Word of God which I’m about to share with you, you will better understand the complete teaching.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. – I John 1: 5

Isn’t that simple? So if God is all light and in Him is no darkness at all, where is this pandemic coming from? It can’t be coming from God but it is coming from the god of this world. How and why, you may be asking yourself, can God allow this to happen? This is the main point of this teaching and I am going to ask you to reach deep in your heart to understand what is really happening here. Let’s take a quick look at the ministry of the god of this world.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: -- John 10: 10a

How simple can that be to understand? Isn’t this pandemic destroying people’s lives and killing people every single day? Who is the thief? On your own take a look at II Corinthians 4: 4. The god of this present world is the devil. He runs the show. But you ask yourself why does he all of the sudden have such great power to bring such a sickness to our country and to the world? I am about to tell you what has actually brought this on and why it is continuing. Here is a directive from the true God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Its importance cannot be stressed enough.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. -- Matthew 6: 33

What does God say we are to seek first? It’s very simple, isn’t it? You see that there are some principles that are so simple, we can miss them for years. If there’s one thing God Almighty cannot stand, it is when we put something else first instead of Him. It is an abomination to God when we practice idolatry. Idolatry is putting anything before the true God. Now how can you honestly say to yourself that the people in this country have not put other things first before God? I see it every single day. It’s either our cars or trucks, or many of our habits such as gambling. Can we put sports ahead of God? Sure we can and we do. Can we put good habits first in front of God? Sure we can. Many musicians worship their instruments and they put them and their music before God. Are all of these things really bad? Not all of them if we keep God first. Have we accepted homosexuality and lesbianism in this country? You know the answer to that. We have blatantly put God practically last in our lives and not first. God puts up with so much and then things change.

What I’m about to tell you is probably going to blow some of your minds. You should know by now that our God is a just God. Now I’m going to drop a bomb on you figuratively, but it is the Word of God and it is truth. Here it is.

God is so just that He is even just to the devil. Did you get that? If not, you should read it again. God has so much mercy that it is beyond our imagination. But when this world turns against Him in massive numbers with people all over the world practicing idolatry, God, in this situation, has had enough. He does not want to allow, and the key word is allow, sickness or disease to come upon anyone. What has actually taken place here is that the devil himself went to God and he said to Him: “Hey God, your people have turned your back on you and curse you. They not only not want to read your Bible, but they have no use for it at all anymore. They have decided to worship me and turned their backs on you. Now if you are just as you say you are — you also say that giving equals receiving. Then these idolatrous people all over the world must get back in return for what they are giving out.” The devil is saying to God that He is a just God so He must be just even to him - the devil himself. He tells God that all of these people are in season for him to kill and destroy them. These unbelievers that make up most of our population today must receive back in return for what they have given out. God then says to the devil that he will allow the devil’s wrath to come upon these God-rejecters. It’s kind of a mind blower, isn’t it? But it’s the only thing that makes any sense. Let me give you just one example from the book of Proverbs. This Proverb is talking about a person that talks about negative subjects and gossips about everybody. I’m sure you met people like this and your first thought is to get away from them, am I right?

A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of the soul. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. – Proverbs 18: 6, 7

Take a look at those two verses and your knowledge of God’s Word should give you answers. In the first Scripture above we see the word ‘destruction’. We went over that principle in this teaching. The enemy steals, kills and destroys. He will bring destruction to this fool. This fool’s lips results in him falling into a trap. In the second verse, we see the word ‘wounds’. Those wounds go down to the innermost part of that fools belly.

Now you surely must remember that God is all light and in Him is no darkness at all. The true God that we worship did not bring all of these negative things upon this fool. The god of this world brought them upon him. There is no other logical answer as to where this destruction is coming from. And of course this relates to our modern day pandemic. We brought it upon ourselves.

God is all light and in Him is no darkness at all. During this pandemic, I see more and more advertisements for gambling than I have ever seen before. God does not condone gambling. It ruins many people’s lives. If you have followed these teachings, you will remember when I told you my own earthly father lost his house at a casino in 15 minutes. He was somehow able to win it back. I can tell you he never went back. Many of us who overcome very bad habits such as drinking too much or doing drugs turn back to the same habits again. Why? Because they do not have the strength that the Word of God gives you in your mind to have the discipline to stay away from deadly habits. That’s why people return to those habits.

You may not think this is a bad habit. But I have always been a good driver – that’s right – in my car. I haven’t had an accident in over 45 years. So I think that’s an excuse to drive as fast as I want. I got so many damn tickets I could’ve bought a new car. The Word strengthened me in this area and I finally had enough discipline to stop driving like a maniac. If I did not know the Word of God, I would still be getting tickets and falling into that aggravating trap once again.

What the true God is looking for right now is for people to change their ways and to stop being idolaters. God wants worship and when He does not get it by our own free will, actually there is nothing He can do. That’s when the god of this world steps in and he starts to take over. You must know this following statement so that you don’t jeopardize your relationship with the true God. God ALLOWS the enemy to bring calamity upon God rejecters and people who practice idolatry. God does not bring extremes in weather to parts of the country. But usually these parts of the country are an abomination to God. The enemy goes to God and God allows him to do the destruction that he is so good at. I seriously hope this teaching is not causing you to lose your faith in God. The opposite is true. This teaching gives you an answer as to why things are happening that are negative in nature. If we in this country don’t start praying to God, it is my belief that this pandemic is not going to end. However, I hope every day that it does end. Right now it’s being used as a political weapon and we really should feel disgraced. The one federal mandate that should be enforced with an iron fist is that we pray every single day for God to help us and to deliver us. In the meantime, the god of this world will have a field day. I’m going to close this teaching with the Scripture that teaches you who runs this world at the present time. This will not be permanent because Jesus Christ is coming back for the second time to get rid of all sickness, sin, death and suffering and we will have a new heaven and earth.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. – II Corinthians 4: 4

What is the light of the glorious gospel of Christ? It is what sets us free and keeps us healthy and brings joy and meaning into our life. The god of this world will blind you to the light of the true God because it is the only thing that defeats him. Don’t be tempted to go with the world. Every time you are tempted, it is wrong.

Take care of yourself and stay safe today. We have only one solution to our problem. That is for people to turn to the true God and study His Word. Then, and only then, can God work in some medical expert to come up with a vaccine for this problem. The only hope that we have at the present time is to turn to God. Pray to God.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. – James 5: 16
