INTRODUCTION
What We Believe = What We Are
The law of believing is dynamically powerful, yet so simple. The law, simply stated, is that what we
believe for or expect, we get. This
applies in every realm: physical,
mental, material, spiritual. Thus it is
this law which basically controls the abundant life. Only if we believe and
expect abundance will we ever realize abundance in our lives.
"The Synchronized Life" shows that our lives are molded by our
believing - both by positive and negative believing. This law is further explained and proved in
"The Law of Believing" so that we will become aware of our own
thinking and then be able to control our thinking so as to manifest the
abundant life which is promised in God's Word.

PART ONE
THE SYNCHRONIZED LIFE
Introduction:
The following two parts of The Synchronized Life are done from two different perspectives. The teaching below (which is Part One) was put together completely by myself and is original. In contrast, Part Two was taken almost completely from my research materials with hardly any changes. I hope you enjoy both versions.
-----------------------------------------------
John 17: 17 -- Sanctify them through thy
truth: thy word is truth.
Let's do some basic Biblical research before beginning. Then we can understand, teach, and apply God's Word regarding this very important subject and finally manifest the more than abundant life as promised in:
John 10: 10b -- .....…
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
You should know for a certainty by now, that the renewed mind is your key to power. [see The Renewed Mind]
Romans 12: 2 -- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. [emphasis added]
Now let's go back to John 17: 17 and examine the word "Sanctify". The following is a definition almost verbatim from "A Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament" -- E. W. Bullinger.
SANCTIFY -- "To set in a state opposed to being common or unclean or to deliver from that state, if already common and unclean, and put into a state corresponding to the nature of God".
When we are born again, we have the spirit of God in Christ in us. This is what the above definition is saying when it refers to a state that "corresponds to the nature of God." However, we should know by now, that when we are born again, our minds do not change. That is why in Romans 12: 2 (see above), we are exhorted to renew our minds according to God's Word. In order to do that, we must STUDY the rightly divided WORD OF GOD [see Study -- Be Diligent]. That is what we are doing right now. We need to go back to John 17: 17 one more time:
John 17: 17 -- Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. [emphasis added]
Did you ever think that you heard the truth, and nothing but the truth, in the world? Well, you have not! The world is full of FACTS and nothing more. The only truth you can ever rely on is God's perfect Word. We need to understand this, and to never forget it. Many so-called facts are unreliable since they originate from man. The Word of God says that all men are liars. But in contrast to this, God assures us that He is not a man, and therefore He cannot lie. You are either going to get to the point in your life where you simply believe God's Word or you are going to continue to argue with God and be defeated in every area of your life. It is really that simple. We need to get to the point in our renewed mind where we confess what the Word of God says and nothing else.
This is
what is referred to as THE SYNCHRONIZED LIFE.
The Synchronized Life, according to God's Word, is really such a simple principle that you are probably going to say to yourself: "It's so simple -- I missed it for years." I have made this remark to myself regarding many of the principals in God's Word over time. God does not make things complicated -- we do. Always remember, that you can never make something too simple. When things become more and more complicated, you must always take a step back and be aware of the source. I have always referred to the adversary's worldly arrangements as "organized confusion" because that's exactly what it is. Because most people do not study God's Word, they are constantly deceived by a well-arranged set of circumstances and situations that actually control their lives. When we keep God first and foremost in our lives, He protects us from the deceptive tactics of this enemy. Always remember that the secret to the enemy's success is the secrecy of his moves. It is essential that we walk with the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation at all times. The enemy cannot stand the love of God. You cannot manifest the love of God unless you know and apply the Word of God.
The Synchronized Life is a most dynamically important principle, that if mastered, it will absolutely change your life in a very positive and permanent way. It's a most exciting Biblical principle and I am very blessed to be able to share it with you. Before we start, I can only exhort you to remember to periodically review this principle so that it becomes an important daily habit in your life and spiritual walk with your Heavenly Father. This will conclude our introduction and we will begin to focus on the specifics of THE SYNCHRONIZED LIFE.
____________________________________
To begin, let’s go to Proverbs:
Proverbs 23: 7a -- For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: ..........
Whatever a person believes in his heart is directly reflected in what
he confesses with his mouth. The heart
is the innermost part of a person's mind.
What a person confesses in his innermost being is what he brings into
manifestation in his life. If we go
through life confessing that we have a great need, we will certainly have that
need. If we constantly complain that we
have a sickness, we will continue to be sick and afflicted because of the great
spiritual law that what one believes in the depth
of his soul absolutely appears in his life.
The following is a very simple definition of the synchronized life:
"Confession
of belief yields receipt of confession."
If you will confess with your mouth at the same time that you confess in your heart what the Word of God says, then you will have power. Your prayers will be answered as you apply these keys in your life by your free will action. However, if you simultaneously confess with your mouth and heart the negatives of this world, you will then manifest these crippling negatives.
Simply stated, we must discipline our mind to believe and to confess what the Word of God says about any and all situations. Of course, to do this, we must be studying the Bible on a regular basis. Obviously, we can't confess what the Word says if we don't know the Word! This is why so many Christians are defeated in their lives. They go through all the motions, such as going to church, singing in the choir, and participating in the bake sales. However, they never apply the synchronized life because they simply do not study God's Word and therefore, they have no power in their walk with God. It's ironic in many ways, but it's very true. You must confess what God says in His Word and then the Word becomes a reality in your life. When you CONFESS what the Word says you are and ACT on what the Word teaches, you will then find that your prayers are answered.
Every time you make a negative confession, you are contradicting God's
Word. If the devil's power is defeated,
and it is, then his power cannot affect you when you believe God's Word. You must understand that Satan has no power
over the born-again Christian when that Christian is renewing his or her mind
to God's Word. So why do you want to
confess that he has power over you? That
is what you do every time you make a negative confession. We must get our mouth and our heart
coordinated on some point that is confirmed by God's Word. When we confess that God does not answer our
prayers or that he doesn't like us or that we are bound by something evil
because it is God's Will for us to suffer for the glory of God -- then we are not
saying what the Word of God says. We are
contradicting the Word and we will bring into our lives evidence of the result
of our confessions. This is truly a dynamic principle that we must master if
we are ever going to walk with God's power in our lives.
Psalm 18 contains a beautiful simile which explains and illustrates how we are to get our mind and actions coordinated.
Psalm 18: 33 -- He maketh
my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me
upon my high places.
A hind is a mother deer -- it is one of the most sure-footed animals in the world. When she is going up the side of a mountain with her young following her, she takes her back feet and places them exactly where her front feet were first placed to test for loose stones on the slope. If she did not test the rocky incline with her front feet, the loose stones would cause her to slip and fall down into the ravine below. This exact tracking means life and safety both to the hind and to her young.
We can use this illustration pertaining to our stand upon the Word of God. "He maketh my feet like hind's feet......" God makes them that way. That is, He makes it so that I may learn to walk by the Word of God so that my "hind feet" will track with my "front feet" -- representing the Word. This means that where the Word has set its feet, there also will I put my feet.
If you stand upon the Word of God and you confess with your mouth what the Word of God says, then you will absolutely manifest the more than abundant life and you will become what the Word of God says you are. This is The Synchronized Life. [It is The Law of Believing studied in more precise detail. What we believe = What we are.] So much of God's Word makes it clear that we have overcome all the negatives of this world as a result of what Jesus Christ accomplished and finished for us. Let's take a look at one record in the book of Romans that tells us how dear and how powerful we are as God's children.
Romans 8: 35, 36, 37 -- Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ? shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed
all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that [who] loved us.
This is what God's Word says about you. Do you believe God's Word? He says that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you. You need to declare this, confess it, in the face of opposition. Your personal adversary cannot stand the Word of God spoken on the lips of believing believers. Darkness cannot stand light -- light always dispels darkness. You confess what the Word says -- it says that you are more than a conqueror. As far as you are concerned, THAT SETTLES IT. We need to get to the point where we simply confess what the Word of God says about our situation. Then, of course, we must believe the Word in our hearts and act on it literally in our lives.
Romans 8: 38, 39 -- For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things
present, nor things to come, Nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature [created thing], shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That is the declared, confirmed Word of God. When you begin to confess that Word, it becomes a reality in your life. Until that time, you will be defeated by satanic principalities and powers on every hand because of your negative confessions.

This is THE
SYNCHRONIZED LIFE.
You need to determine now that you will never again make a negative confession. Confess from the heart what you know is true from the Word of God. Learn to confess what the Bible says you are, not what you think you are, not what your next-door neighbor says you are, not what your best friend may say you are. Hold fast to what God's Word says you are because as you should remember from the beginning of this teaching:
John
17: 17b ......... thy word is truth.
We have been delivered from ALL of the power of darkness. Act like it by declaring the Word of God, especially when you feel pressure or tribulation from the god of this world. IF YOU BELIEVE IT, Jesus Christ paralyzed his power and you have CHRIST IN YOU.
I John 4: 4 -- Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them [all negatives]:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Colossians 1: 13 -- Who hath delivered us from
the power of darkness, and hath translated us into
the kingdom of [by] his dear Son:
The literal translation of this verse according to usage is:
Colossians 1: 13 -- Who hath rescued us out
from among the exercise or operative influence of darkness (kingdom) and
separated us, bringing us as citizens into His kingdom by the work of His dear
Son.
When evil or negatives try to enter your mind, immediately declare the Word and say: "I confess that I have been delivered from the power of darkness by my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ".
Keep saying this until it becomes a reality in your life. You are in God's Kingdom so you cannot be in the kingdom of the devil at the same time.
Many people think that we must strive and strain before God will bless us. God blesses people as a result of their believing. If you think about it, it doesn't say anything in the Word of God about our feelings, but God stresses the fact that we must believe. All that God gives to you is the result of your believing. When you act on the promises of God, they become real and are evidenced in your life. Synchronize your believing and your confessions with the promises in God's Word and then you will manifest the more than abundant life in Christ Jesus.

OF PART ONE
PART
TWO
The Synchronized Life
* This teaching is a foundational
study from The Bible Tells Me So published by The American Christian
Press in 1973. Part One
is my own teaching on this same subject.
Whatever a person believes is directly reflected in what he
confesses. What a person confesses in
his innermost being is what he brings into manifestation in his life. If a person goes through life confessing that
he has great need, he will definitely have great need. If he confesses sickness, he will continue to
be sick and afflicted because of the law that what one believes in the depth of
his soul absolutely appears in his life.
The "synchronized life" is simply stated by this formula: confession of belief yields receipt of
confession. If you will confess with
your mouth at the same time that you confess in your heart what The Word says,
you will have power. Your prayers will
be answered as you apply these keys in your life by your action. Thus, the abundant resources of heaven are
made available to you. But, likewise, if
you simultaneously confess with your mouth and heart the negatives of this
world, you will manifest these crippling negatives.
If you confess Christ as the Lord in your life, your confession is a
reality to you. In your heart you know
He is Lord because you believed God has raised Him from the dead. When you
confess that you are a new creature in Christ, old things pass away and all
things become new according to your confession.
If you confess that you are a son of God and the Bible says that you are
a son, then you are a son of God. If
your confession is that you are an heir of the Father, then everything that the
Father has becomes yours because you are confessing exactly what The Word says.
The Word declares that the devil both was and is defeated.
It stipulates he has no legal rights over the Christian. If Satan has no power over the Christian, why
do you want to confess that he has power over you? Every time you make a negative confession you
are contradicting God's Word. If the
devil's power is defeated, as it is, then his power cannot touch you when you
believe The Word. But, you must confess
that you know the power of God in your life. You must confess what God says in His Word
and then The Word becomes a reality in your life. Whenever you dare to confess that you are
what The Word says you are and act on what The Word teaches, you will find that
your prayers are answered.
So long as I cannot get my mouth and my heart
coordinated on some point that is confirmed by The Word, I have no power with
God. When I confess that God does not
answer my prayer, that He does not like me, that I have a sickness because God
gave it to me, or that I
am bound by something evil because it is God's will for me to be thus
disciplined in life, or that I must suffer for the glory of God - then I am not
saying what The Word says and I will bring into evidence in my life the result
of my confession.
Psalms 18 contains a beautiful simile which
illustrates how we are to get our mind and actions coordinated.
He maketh my
feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my
high places. -- Psalms 18: 33
A hind is a mother deer, one of the most surefooted
animals in the world. When she goes up
the side of a mountain with her young following her, she takes her back feet
and places them exactly where her front feet were first placed to test for
loose stones on the slope. If she did
not test that rocky incline with her front feet, the loose stones would cause
her to slip and fall down into the ravine below. This exact tracking means life both to the
hind and to her young.
"He maketh my feet like hinds'
feet." He maketh
them. That is, He makes it so that I may
learn to walk by The Word so that my "hind feet" will track with my
"front feet (representing The Word)."
Thus, where The Word has set its feet, there also will I put my feet.
If you stand upon the Word of God and you confess that Word, you become
what the Word of God says. This is the
synchronized life.
Romans tells us how dear and how powerful God's children are.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we
are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through
him that loved us. -- Romans 8: 35-37
I am not just saying this; God said it.
Do you believe God's Word? He
said you are more than
a conqueror through Him who loved you.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -- Romans 8: 38, 39
This is the declared, confirmed Word of God. When you begin to confess that Word, it
becomes a reality in your life. Until
that time you will be defeated by satanic principalities and powers on every
hand because of your confession. Know
The Word, confess The Word and act upon The Word. That is what is meant by a synchronized life.
Determine now that you will never again make a negative confession. Learn what and how to confess. Confess from the heart, with your mouth, what
has been confirmed by The Word. Confess
what the Bible says you are, not what you think you are, not what your next
door neighbor says you are, not what your best friend may say you are. Hold fast to what The Word says.
We have been delivered from
the power of darkness: Satan, evil and
wrong.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into
the kingdom of [by] his dear Son * -- Colossians
1: 13
*The literal translation according to usage is: Who hath rescued us out from among the
exercise or operative influence of darkness (kingdom) and separated us,
bringing us as citizens into His kingdom by the work of his dear Son.
The next time evil or negatives come into your mind, immediately declare
The Word and say I confess that I have been delivered from the power of
darkness by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ." Keep saying this and soon it will be a
reality in your life. If you have been
translated into the Kingdom of God by the work of His dear Son, then you are
not in the kingdom of the devil. Do you
think you can be in the Kingdom of God and of the devil at the same time? He has delivered us from the power of evil
and we are in the Kingdom of God.
People think they must strive to become good before God will bless
them. I assure you that God will never
bless you because of your goodness, but rather because of your believing. How do you get rid of darkness in a
room? The darkness is gone as quickly as
the light comes. So when we allow the
light of The Word to come into our lives, the darkness is dispelled. There is nothing in The Word that says
anything about our feelings, it says believe. All that God has given comes to you by
believing without respect to how good or how bad you are. That is love.
That is what Christ came to bring.
As we act on the promises of God, they become real to us and are
evidenced in our lives. Synchronize your believing and confession on the
promises of God's Word and you will manifest a more than abundant life in
Christ Jesus.
