Learning Scripture By Memory

The following is one of the most unusual teachings I have ever done.  This teaching will only benefit the serious Christian believer who enjoys working the Word and understands the importance of this type of teaching.  The following Scriptures are taken from my personal Scripture retemory cards that I have carried with me for many years.  There is no particular pattern to these Scriptures.  They have been chosen as a result of their importance/subject matter.  I would go for a walk with my dog and I would study these cards, which were about the size of a business card printed on heavy board.  The important point is, that if you do this, you will not have to have your Bible with you because the Word of God will be in your heart.  Let me give you an example.  Let’s say I was going about my day and for some reason, I kept dwelling on the past.  There is a Scripture that you will see in the body of this teaching that addresses this subject specifically.  I would say this Scripture over and over again in my mind until this thought pattern, which was contrary to God’s Word, would seem to just disappear.  Darkness cannot stand light.   Learning Scripture by memory is one of the most important tools of a renewed mind believer.  This teaching will challenge your mental capabilities, and will strengthen you spiritually, since some Scriptures are quite long and some are combinations of two or three Scriptures.  May God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ for your work and efforts regarding the learning of these Scriptures by memory.  I can guarantee that you will see dynamic results in your renewed mind walk and of course, in your life.
