STUDY GUIDE

John 8: 32 -- And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

The following teaching is simple and self-explanatory. First an emotion, situation, or topic is mentioned and then a Scripture reference and the Scripture that relates to that topic follows. We, as Christians, continuing in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, must be spiritually sharp.

II Timothy 4: 2 -- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season [whether it's convenient or not]; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Scripture retemory (learning the Word by heart) is one of your most important KEYS TO POWER. A Teaching on Meditating on God's Word is available to you on this renewed mind subject. If you do not know some Scriptures by heart, what are you going to do if someone asks you about God's Word and you don't have your Bible with you? That's not very convenient, correct? God want us to be ready in season and out of season -- convenient or not. The Word of God is just fantastic. It is the blueprint for living. For starters, we should know what and where God says something about a particular situation or topic. This study guide will help you in this area. Then you should go a step farther and learn as many Scriptures as you can by memory. Then when you are going about your day and come across an opportunity, you know what the Word says in that area. You repeat the Scripture in your mind and act on it, you defeat the opportunity, and you move on. That's how sharp God wants us to be and being ready with God's Word any time and all the time is how we live the more than abundant life promised in the gospel of John:

John 10: 10b -- I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it  more abundantly.
